Grand Cayman - Cayman Islands BWI: Sept 7-14? TBD, 2024

The northern tip of West Bay, Grand Cayman has so much to offer you for your underwater adventure. Two shore diving sites offer easy access for divers of all levels. Boat charter options will take you to all the great sites in West Bay and the North Wall.
Shore Diving

Divers can enter the water from the ladder at the end of the dock and expect a nice and easy swim exploring the hard pan looking for little critters in around scattered coral reef. The dive site slopes gently away from shore for about 700ft, starting at around 20-25ft to the top of the mini wall which is around 40-50ft.
On top of the wall there is a beautiful landscape of soft and hard coral along with colorful schooling fish everywhere. The wall then drops away to reveal wide and narrow channels with drastic overhangs, leading to the sandy floor at around 65-75ft. Explore the channels and look for giant barrel sponges and sea fans, large barracuda, snapper and much more!
Swim along the wall exploring big patches of coral reef keeping your eye out to the vast sandy landscape for Stingrays, Eagle Rays, Turtles and Sharks. For those looking for a deeper adventure, the walls make a great spot deeper Trimix exploration.
Boat Diving

Divetech's three custom dive boats Atamyway, Atatude, and Atagirl, run on a daily basis to provide two-tank trips in the morning then a selection of one or two tanks in the afternoon. Boat dives run to dive sites in West Bay or the North Wall depending on weather and other considerations.  Another highlight is the USS Kittiwake, Grand Cayman’s most impressive wreck, and often regarded as a “must-do” for divers. Following 50 years of active service in the US Navy as a submarine support vessel, the 251' Kittiwake was sunk near Seven Mile Beach to make an artificial reef and playground for divers. In 2011 the decommissioned ship was successfully situated underwater in an almost perfectly upright position. Six years later, however, the power of mother nature re-positioned the wreck by lying it on its port side.

All dive boats offer half shade and half sun, ample storage, and a freshwater shower.  A minimum of two instructors are always aboard for topside/surface watch and to act as an in-water guide. You are welcome to follow our dive guides or go off and explore in your own  buddy pairs.

St. Lawrence Seaway Canada: TBD, 2024
The shipwrecks in the St. Lawrence are amazing! These wrecks are well preserved and many are over 80 years old! I invite you to experience a beautiful and unique environment. The water is pleasantly warm in Aug; we had 73 degrees and no thermocline in August of 22'. The top side scenery is almost as magical as the sunk treasures that await you. Short boat rides whisk you past quaint little islands where in many cases you start your drift dive, descending down a rocky slope to find an old shipwreck waiting for you! These dives are a foray into maritime history like no other.
With depth ranges from 20ffw to over 200ffw, good visibility and a steady current, the river is an excellent place to train as well.

Inherent in diving is the possibility that something will go wrong for reasons beyond our control. Whether it's lost gear by the airline, cancelled dives due to poor weather conditions, or DCI, there's insurance for that. At ExRDS we require all guests to have their own travel and personal injury insurance if traveling with us regardless of the destination. We have included links to DAN and Dive Assure as suggestions, but the coverage can come from any company offering scuba diving insurance to the public.
